Digitally-colored Monotype for the final of the second week of the Academy!  Happy with this one.  Portfolio, woop woop.

A little bummed that I didn't snag the cover, but I was up against some great illustrators.  Congrats Beth!

Digital implementation of the academy method of drawing, sorta-kinda.  Mostly been thumbnailing today.  Going to the Illustration Academy in like.. 2 weeks.  Yup.  Excited and terrified.

From KCMO!

Drawing from The Illustration Academy's studio in KCMO.  They were kind enough to offer a night of free life drawing, so I absolutely had to go!  Got a demo from Mark English, talked to John English, and met several amazing students over there.  No big deal..  Right?

Got lazy for a few days (thanks Dark Souls 2..), but I'm back!  Studies from Mullins and Russian guys.  Taking a different approach to studying and actually taking more notes instead of trying to just fucking internalize everything.
