Color Sketches

Riffing on a theme of "Frozen Pass".  Mostly experimenting with what colors I can use for snow and working towards a final.  There's a few more to do on this one, but wanted to put 'em up before Christmas stuff got me busy.

Thumbing for something to take to final.  Did a quick self portrait for like an hour.  (with monitor lighting obviously) to break up some of the monotony that thumbing can sometimes bring.  Barely addressed the hair since I didn't want to render my greasy need-to-shower hair, lol. Pushed the bottom one a little bit but it wasn't working for me.

And some quick stuff from life.  Only could spend like 30 minutes per plein air before my hands started screaming at me from the cold, so they're rather quick.
